Whenever I encounter a JavaScript codebase that insists on dropping all semicolons, I feel like I'm reading an amateur poet trying to imitate e.e. cummings by writing the personal pronoun "I" with a lowercase letter "i". It's pretentious and calls attention to itself for no good reason.
