The word "natsukashi" なつかしい can be used to describe nostalgia for anything that's attached to fond memories, for example: toys that aren't popular anymore, music that's not heard so often, old clothing styles that have gone out of fashion, recipes that aren't common anymore. These are the things that once brought us joy, but aren't part of popular culture anymore.
