Since neologizing is so much fun, how about "persaport".
The class of transportation vehicles you're researching seem to be primarily used for personal transportation -- getting one person and their baggage from A to B. Sure, there are variations where a second person may be along for the ride, but we could consider them as "baggage" in some sense.
The latin root for personal is persona ("human being") and for transportation is transportare ("convey").
As a bonus, the Japanese might want to say パソナポート ("pasonapotto").
