Poetry and lyrics require special formatting between lines, which can only be done in a limited fashion right now. (Using Ctrl-Return will perform a proper line break, but two consecutive blank lines are disallowed.)

Indented lines are simply impossible without resorting to special foreign language Unicode whitespace, but fixed width, tabbed indents, are an integral part of the poet's and song-writer's work. Like other white space, tabbed indents give readers information about how to breathe and pause while reading.
