Something else comes to mind with this topic: the whole problem of people who are stateless.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says “everyone has the right to a nationality” and should not be deprived arbitrarily of his or her nationality.

But here we are: 4.4 million people worldwide who are citizens of no country.
