I would like to be composted when I die, and I've expressed this to many people over the past several decades. It's good to hear that Washington, Oregon, and California have finally made this a possibility.

I have long held to a tradition of planting a memorial tree to honor and remember a loved one who has passed away.

As an avid gardener, landscaper, and dare I say it "tree hugger", I imagine that future day when those that knew me say "Wow, that Joe sure does make a nice Japanese cherry tree!"
