About a decade ago I implemented an HTML <canvas> based Voronoi map of the radiation patterns around Fukushima. Using the Voronoi technique was very useful in depicting the spatial patterns of ionizing radiation measured at the 3813 randomly positioned data monitoring stations of the Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) of Japan.
